About this attraction

Expedition Everest is a steel roller coaster at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida, built by Vekoma and opened in 2006. The train runs through an artificial mountain themed to a peak guarded by a yeti, and it travels both forward and backward during the ride. A large yeti animatronic and an encounter with a broken track are part of the experience.
