About the park
Playland is a seasonal amusement park at Hastings Park in Vancouver, British Columbia, operated by the Pacific National Exhibition. It opened at its current location in 1958 and runs mainly from May to September, with Halloween-themed Fright Nights events in October. The park offers a mix of classic carnival rides, family rides, thrill rides and a few roller coasters, and it is also used for filming.
