Rodelbaan
Roller coaster · De Waarbeek
About this attraction
A steel roller coaster at De Waarbeek in Hengelo, opened in 1930 and still in operation, so it is regarded as one of the oldest working steel roller coasters in the world. Its name does not refer to sledding; the coaster uses open carts for up to four riders and a gravity-driven run with a skid-brake system. The ride lasts about a minute.
