Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier
About the park
A pleasure pier on the Gulf of Mexico in Galveston, Texas, opened in 2012 on the site of an earlier pier that stood from 1943 until 1961. It features a roller coaster, a set of amusement rides, carnival games and souvenir shops. The pier extends about 340 metres out over the water.
