Six Flags Over Texas is a large amusement park in Arlington, Texas, near Dallas and Fort Worth. Opened in 1961, it was the first park of the Six Flags chain. Its rides are spread across several themed sections, with coasters, water attractions, children's rides and classic train and carousel rides.
