About the park
PortAventura Park is a theme park inside the PortAventura World resort, between Vila-seca and Salou in Catalonia, Spain. It opened in 1995 and is divided into six themed areas based on historical civilisations, including China, Mexico, Polynesia and the Far West. Its rides range from large roller coasters and drop towers to water rides and children's areas.
